Drill on an acquired structure

Ex-Chief Louis Warnet Jr., July 23

On Monday night, the RFD conducted a drill on an acquired structure in Allendale. Members trained on the removal of victims from both the roof and interior. During the drill, Assistant Chief Jim Dougherty took the opportunity to show 3 future firefighters some of the equipment and allowed them to see the operation up close, while their parents looked on. At 1904 hours, yesterday during the heavy storm RFD and Rescue was requested for a down power line, the result of which melted the roadway

6/27/25- The RFD responded to a strong smell of gas near a residence
