Last night Mayor Dierdre Dillon and the Council presented the Ramsey Fire Dept. with a Proclamation recognizing the 125th anniversary of the Fire Dept. Since 1899, the RFD has been and still is an all volunteer department serving the citizens, businesses and visitors with fire protection. The members take great pride and dedication in serving the Borough and we thank the Mayor and Council for the many years of support in providing the funding for the best equipment available to ensure the safety of the firefighters. Several members attended last nights meeting to accept the Proclamation.

The RFD is always looking for new members to join the ranks. All training and personal protective equipment is provided at no cost. We meet every Monday night or one can fill out the application form on the website.
