Last night the RFD drilled on the different types of ladders, the parts of the ladders and maintenance. A discussion was held on placement and the different ways ladders can be used other than climbing. Future drills will be held on different methods of placement, proper carrying, other types of uses, such as removing victims from windows with rope, using ladders as bridges, etc. Along with that, members were instructed on the parapet set up on both tower ladders using the provided brackets and roof ladder attachments along with the rescue basket attachments for placing the Stokes Basket on the platforms.
