The Ramsey FD along with other Mutual Aid units were called to help the brothers and sisters of the Upper Saddle River FD at a structure fire at 98 Carlough Rd. on Saturday afternoon. Engine 432 and Tower 441 responded and were immediately put to work as the fire spread through part of the large home. The fire eventually broke through the roof as units worked to stop the spread to the rest of the home. The second alarm fire brought units from Mahwah, Saddle River, Allendale and Tallman, N.Y. to the scene for assistance. The fire was contained to one section of the home and was brought under control a couple of hours later. Strong work was performed by all who were on scene and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation. Our thoughts are with the family during this time.
